How do I book?

How much notice do I need to give to hire? You can book any time however bookings get very busy during the summer months, so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Alternatively you can contact us on the day, as we may have availability. Been let down at the last minute? we'll do our best to help

How much does it cost? All our asset prices are on our website. We do run special offers on a regular basic so please give us a call for competitive hire price. There may be additional charges for certain venues, delivery or the likes of hard standing. Please Contact Us to find out if these charges apply to you.

What do the prices include? All booking prices include delivery, set-up and collection within a 10 mile radius of USB Events. There will be a small delivery charge for bookings out with this area, give us a call for a quote or Contact USB Events today.

When are your bouncy castles available? Our castles are available 24 hours a day, depending on date and time. Contact USB Events to check availability.

How long do I get the equipment for? You will get the equipment for the time agreed at the booking process. We deliver and collect at a time suitable to your event. The earliest we can deliver is 7am and the latest we can pickup is dependent on the time of year. In the winter months we need to collect outdoor items before it get too dark but in the summer months our latest pickup is between 8pm and 9pm.

Do you hire overnight? Yes, we will hire some of our equipment overnight (provided the location is secure) at an extra overnight fee of £30. Contact Us to find out if your products are available overnight.

Do I pay a deposit? We usually take a small deposit by bank transfer to secure your booking in our system, however in certain circumstances this can changed to suit your needs.

How do I pay? The most preferable method of payment is cash on delivery. We can accept payments by bank transfer until up to 24 hours before the hire if easier. Usually we don't take cheque payments, however in certain circumstances this can be done, but they do need to be received in sufficient time for funds to clear before the booking date.

What if I need to cancel my booking? Contact us as soon as possible about cancellation.

Do I get my deposit back if I cancel my booking? We do not reimburse a deposit. A deposit is paid for holding a product(s) which can otherwise be booked by another customer. Apologies if this causes any inconvenience.

What if I need to cancel my booking for reasons outwith my control? In this instance we can hold your deposit for 1 year, to use for any booking of your choice.

What if it rains or is extremely windy? No charge is made for any cancellation due to adverse weather conditions on the day of your event, as long as you call before your delivery arrives. It is not desirable to hire inflatables when its extremely windy and we reserve the right to cancel a hire if weather conditions are too severe. Some of our inflatables have rain covers which will be suitable for light rain showers or drizzle, but not heavy downpours of rain (the rain cover will sag in the middle and start to drip through). If you wish to cancel your booking due to bad weather conditions please give us as much notice as possible, preferably before 9am on the day.

Am I allowed to hire products from you and then charge people to use them? Yes you are, but you must bear in mind that you are in charge and must make sure that people who use our products are safe, don't overload any inflatables to try and make extra money. As the hirer you are liable for any damages. Some of our inflatables must be manned by our staff for safety reasons, this will be explained at the time of the booking.

Can the any item be set up on a slope? It is not desirable to unless it is a very slight slope. If you are unsure we will try to advise you prior to the booking.

Do inflatables need to be set up on grass only? It is most desirable to set up inflatables on grass but not always necessary. In certain circumstances inflatables can be set up on concrete, tarmac and artificial grass, but this will have to be discussed beforehand and the proposed site visited to ensure this is possible, as we will need to provide thick groundsheets and sand bags. There may be an added cost if on hard standing.

How long does it take to set up/inflate/deflate/pack up the inflatable? Inflatables vary in set up and collection times, depending on ease of access to the proposed site, sizes of inflatables and amount of inflatables hired. USB Events will usually ask how long we have for setting up and collecting inflatables, so to help keep our time schedules right. At that point, we will advise you how long we need. How much space is needed? You will need to allow adequate space around all sides of our products. If you are in any doubt as to whether you have enough space, please discuss this when booking as we can help advise you on the proposed site prior to booking. You will also need to provide adequate access to the site, All of our inflatables will be delivered on a sack barrow so 2ft-4ft access width will be required. If access is through your property please let us know when booking the castle. We cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred whilst wheeling items though your home.

Is there anything I need to provide?
We supply all you will need for our products, however if you have hired an item that needs access to power, we ask that you provide a 240 volts for mains power supply. If you do not have a power supply for the products, you will need to hire a generator, which will be an additional cost (this includes the cost of fuel to run the generator for up to 4 hours) Contact USB Events to find out more about that. You will also need to ensure that the proposed site for products is free from debris/garden furniture/children’s toys and most importantly dog/cat mess.

Does it need electricity? How much does it use? Yes. We will bring up to a maximum 50 meter extension cord with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area. Our inflatable blowers run continuously and uses approximately £0.18 of electricity per hour. Your blow dryer uses more than that! NOTE: All blowers and wiring are safety checked before delivery.

Is there an age limit for children using the castle? Yes, all our junior castles are suitable for children up to and including the age of 12. For any child over this age you will need to hire an adult castle

Is it cheaper if we pick up the bouncy castle ourselves? No. we do not allow this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by USB Events to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.

Are you a member of any trade organisations?Yes. We are members of the British Inflators Hirers Alliance, Rpii and BCN (Bouncy Castle Network)

How far can the inflatable be from the mains socket? For your bouncy castle hire we supply up to 50m of heavy duty lead with waterproof plug ends most hires are less than 20m if you require any further than 50m you will need to hire a generator.

.Do I need to do anything before you can put inflatables up? Yes, make sure all animal mess is cleaned prior to delivery and make sure there are no hot or sharp objects left lying around and please let us know where the plug socket is, we will usually have your inflatable/s set up in between 5 to 30 minutes provided access is clear, please move vehicles where needed and any clutter. Thank you!

Do I leave the inflatable switched on? Yes leave it on at all times when in use, if you need to turn it off, do so at the switch by the socket! Contact Us to find out any more info on this matter.

How many are allowed on at once? We recommend on kids bouncy castles 5-8 people max at any 1 time. Up to 12 kids on adult castles. 5 max for toddler castles. 2-4 max on slides. All two person games, must only have two people on at any one time.
